Collyde is recruiting on behalf of a fast-paced specialized sports program for children ages 12 months through 8 years old that has been operating and growing since 1999. They teach the fundamentals of baseball, basketball, flag football, floor hockey, lacrosse, soccer, and volleyball through our Multi-Sport and Sport-specific classes. They take pride in nurturing whole child development in a fun environment, helping each child grow in the confidence and skills they need to succeed in sports, school, and life.
Role Summary:
Our customer is hiring a Site Manager at its New York City location which will operate inside a larger Sports Facility. This person will be responsible for Directing our Sports classes and the overall leadership and management of all day-to-day operations including family satisfaction, program quality and safety, overall financial performance, and adherence to all operating standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To lead a team of Coaches to perform our programming and meet performance standards at all times.
- Maintain an effective program and staff schedule.
- Maximize registration by ensuring repeat and referral business by constantly monitoring program quality and parent satisfaction.
- Execute local advertising and promotional plans and track and evaluate the results.
- Maintain awareness and participation in community affairs to take advantage of sales and public relations opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-4 years as a Class Director specifically teaching Children ages 1-5 in a Sports setting.
- Additional experience as a senior manager overseeing Children's Sports and recreational programs including profit and loss responsibility.
- Must be able to manage tasks quickly and effectively.
- Proven ability to direct and train staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective and empathic listener.
- Possess honesty and personal integrity.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and personable.
- Knowledgeable about early childhood development.
- Demonstrates good judgment and decision-making capabilities.

- Understanding KPI's and membership goals.
- Understands kids programming and the nuances that come with it.
- Experience with parents of young children in today's "Sports World".
- Experience and drive in community outreach as we look to become a staple in the community.
- Understands there will be weekend workdays and some local travel. Does not have a non-compete that prevents them from working with another Children's Sports business.
- Willing to travel to NY for 1-2 weeks for initial training.
