    Vice President, Data Architecture - Job Description

    Fidelity is seeking a skilled Data Architect to join our team. In this role, you will help us optimize customer experiences and develop financial solutions. Your main responsibilities will be defining the next generation data platform, collaborating with business units, and implementing scalable data infrastructure that meets their needs.

    Your Expertise and Skills

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technology related field required.
    • Demonstrated leadership in architecting highly scalable data solutions.
    • Experience in relational and NoSQL databases, data warehousing, and data lake technologies.
    • Knowledge of modern data architecture techniques and cloud data technologies.
    • Ability to evaluate and recommend emerging data technologies and platforms.
    • Expertise in data management standard methodologies such as integration, security, and data quality.
    • Experience in designing distributed systems and analyzing cost and performance.
    • 10+ years of data solution architecture and design experience.
    • Relevant certification in public cloud services is highly desirable.
    • Strong skills in Agile methodologies.

    What You Will Deliver

    • Define information architecture for key domains.
    • Evaluate data tools and recommend implementation patterns and standard methodologies.
    • Collaborate with Enterprise Data Architects to establish and maintain enterprise standards.
    • Mentor Data Engineers and Data Analysts in the Data Architecture and Engineering Chapter.
