In this role, you will be responsible for preparing food for regular and therapeutic diets based on the planned menu. Your responsibilities will include reading food orders or receiving verbal instructions on the required food, following recipes and product directions for cooking and serving various dishes, operating kitchen equipment, such as measuring and mixing ingredients, washing and cutting fruits and vegetables, and trimming and cutting meat, poultry, or fish. You will also be responsible for tasting products, estimating food requirements, checking production, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with HACCP policies and procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining clean and sanitized workstations and equipment, following portion control guidelines, and monitoring and recording food temperatures according to established policies. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
