Job Opportunity: Regulatory Governance Specialist

We are currently seeking a Regulatory Governance Specialist to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements across our organization.

Your role will involve:

• Collating, reporting, and monitoring remediation for regulatory compliance issues
• Establishing governance and oversight framework for Legal Entity reporting
• Creating a robust continuous monitoring program in partnership with 1st and 2nd lines of defense
• Performing spot checks across delivered remediation programs
• Ensuring enhancements are implemented across applicable teams/regions
• Participating in senior regulatory governance forums
• Identifying opportunities to streamline and re-align processes for optimal risk management

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily operations with a focus on risk monitoring and escalation
• Develop an effective control framework that meets regulatory requirements
• Review controls and suggest changes to improve risk profile
• Standardize controls across regions and teams
• Implement plans to meet regulatory commitments
• Analyze risk metrics and identify trends and solutions
• Implement a successful People and Engagement strategy

Skills & Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
• Relevant experience in operations or technology with program and people management
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong risk management and control mindset
• Ability to succeed in a complex organization and broker solutions
• Experience delivering strategic change programs in a financial services firm
