This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the safety, reliability, and profitability of our refinery operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Use analytical tools to analyze plant operations and overpressure scenarios.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in relief valve calculation databases.
- Evaluate changes that impact relief protection through Management of Change evaluations.
- Provide technical support for pressure relief device maintenance, non-conformance investigations, and other relevant projects.
- Collaborate with the Projects group to develop and implement mitigation plans for relief deficiencies.
- Act as a point of contact for contractors involved in relief mitigation projects.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in chemical, petrochemical, refining, oil and gas, or power industries.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of process engineering experience in a complex facility within relevant industries.
- Awareness of relief systems design.
- Experience with process monitoring tools and software.

- Strong ownership of assigned tasks and self-motivated.
Relocation Options: Considered on a case-by-case basis.
