This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the safety, reliability, and profitability of our refinery operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Use analytical tools to analyze plant operations and overpressure scenarios.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in relief valve calculation databases.
• Evaluate changes that impact relief protection through Management of Change evaluations.
• Provide technical support for pressure relief device maintenance, non-conformance investigations, and other relevant projects.
• Collaborate with the Projects group to develop and implement mitigation plans for relief deficiencies.
• Act as a point of contact for contractors involved in relief mitigation projects.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in chemical, petrochemical, refining, oil and gas, or power industries.
• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of process engineering experience in a complex facility within relevant industries.
• Awareness of relief systems design.
• Experience with process monitoring tools and software.

• Strong ownership of assigned tasks and self-motivated.

Relocation Options: Considered on a case-by-case basis.
