    About the Role:

    As a Guest Advocate, you have the opportunity to create a welcoming and inclusive guest experience at Target. Advocating for exceptional service both in person and online, you will exceed guest expectations and help them with their needs. Your role will involve problem-solving, adapting to different interactions, promoting and selling various services, and ensuring an effortless shopping experience for our guests.

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Create a welcoming experience by genuinely greeting and engaging with all guests
    • Quickly understand if a guest needs assistance, and tailor your approach accordingly
    • Ask questions to better understand the specific needs of each guest
    • Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available to improve the guest experience
    • Scan and bag items efficiently, maintaining food safety standards
    • Minimize guest wait time while ensuring accuracy and maintaining service
    • Inform guests about upcoming launches, store activities, and events
    • Promote the benefits of the Target RedCard and assist guests with the application process
    • Demonstrate how to use the Target App and its various features and offerings
    • Support and educate guests on fulfillment services, such as Order Pick Up and Drive Up
    • Handle returns following our policies and procedures
    • Resolve any negative situations and de-escalate conflicts
    • Ensure a clean and organized work area
    • Stock supplies and maintain compliance with safety policies and best practices
    • Support guest services such as Order Pick Up and Drive Up while complying with applicable laws
    • Perform other duties as required based on business needs
