Job Duties and Responsibilities As a Supply Planning Manager at DISH, you will play a crucial role in managing the supply planning responsibilities. Some of your key responsibilities will include: - Taking ownership of device planning and communication - Contributing to weekly inventory presentations to ensure transparency - Managing inventory information exchange between teams - Providing purchase recommendations while meeting inventory targets - Collaborating on data inputs for process enhancement reports - Building relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual growth - Optimizing inventory based on demand planning and objectives - Identifying procurement improvements for a more efficient supply chain - Collaborating with stakeholders to create tailored supply plans - Developing strategies for managing supply chain risks - Coordinating the integration of new devices and resolving inventory challenges - Using business analysis techniques to improve processes - Utilizing advanced supply chain software accurately and effectively - Analyzing outcomes and aligning strategies with key performance indicators - Leading "What-If" planning and mentoring teams - Addressing and resolving supply chain constraints - Evaluating and fostering collaboration within the supply chain - Creating a culture focused on growth and improvement Skills, Experience and Requirements To succeed as a Supply Planning Manager, you should possess the following attributes: - Preferably hold a Master's degree from a reputable college or university, with at least 4 years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered. - Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail, allowing you to effectively multitask and execute tasks. - Proficiency in advanced Excel functions for precise data manipulation and analysis. - Familiarity with supply and demand planning systems like SAP, Kinaxis, o9, and Anaplan is desirable. - Effective communication skills to interact with people at all levels of the organization. - Commitment to DISH's core values of Curiosity, Pride, Adventure, and Winning. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment. - Must be able to work in Denver as an in-office presence is required for collaboration and engagement. Desired Skills/Experience: - Experience in the wireless industry, demonstrating understanding of market dynamics. - Strong negotiation skills. - Familiarity with business analysis tools and methodologies. - Proven ability to manage and mentor team members. - Effective leadership skills with a track record of fostering collaboration. - Strong analytical skills to make informed decisions based on complex data. - Proficiency in project management and process improvement methodologies. - Familiarity with financial analysis and budgeting processes.
