Responsibilities: - Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care. - Support professional nursing practice across various settings and the continuum of care. - Implement the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model and adhere to ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice. - Provide leadership through informal roles, quality improvement efforts, and mentoring. - Possibility of driving personal vehicle as part of the role (*specific to certain positions). Qualifications: - Graduate of a nursing program. - Entry-level associate degree registered nurses with a start date on or after April 1, 2020, must have a baccalaureate degree in nursing within five years from the RN start date. - Entry-level associate degree registered nurses with a start date prior to April 1, 2020, must fulfill the degree requirements in place at the time of hire. - Preferably, one year of experience as an RN in a relevant care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic. - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work in a team environment. - Computer skills required, familiarity with electronic medical record systems preferred. - Flexibility to work daytime hours and adapt to unpredictable situations. - Valid RN license as required by the state of practice. - Basic Life Support (BLS) competency certification (*varies based on location). - Additional state licensure(s) and specialty certification/training may be required depending on the work area. Compensation and Benefits: - Hourly wage range: $33.07 - $49.60. - Eligible for comprehensive benefits package. - Full-time position with 80 hours/pay period. - Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts.
