Job Description: Clinical Access Navigator As a Clinical Access Navigator, you will serve as a bridge between doctors, nurses, and patients. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing and documenting patient phone calls related to medical conditions and inquiries, following established department protocols. - Registering and scheduling patients using the EMR system (Epic). - Efficiently operating various office equipment like computers, copiers, fax machines, and telephones, while also performing other clerical and technical duties as required. - Maintaining knowledge about all available clinical and non-clinical resources in the department. - Providing vital support to families of pediatric or primary care patients. Experience Required - Minimum two years of experience in an ambulatory office setting. - Preferred two years of experience in pediatric or primary care ambulatory care settings. - Strong understanding of family-centered care principles and effective communication. - Previous experience in telephone triage is desirable. Education Requirements - Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing. License/Certification Requirements - Current New Jersey LPN License (Licensed Practical Nurse). - BLS Certification (Healthcare Provider Course). Special Requirements - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
