What You Will Do :
As part of a Project Management Office (PMO), the IT Project Manager at Guidehouse is responsible for coordinating with multiple stakeholders, defining requirements, identifying process improvements, managing scope, schedule, and risk, conducting testing, and reporting project status. They will also maintain the product backlog, refine user stories with business owners and developers, establish and maintain the release plan, and demonstrate completed functionality to stakeholders. This position will support the development and maintenance of a global information system for a US Federal Government client. ---
What You Will Need :
- An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance - Bachelor's degree - Four or more years of relevant experience - Three or more years experience in Agile/Project Management ---
What Would Be Nice To Have :
- PMP Certification - Agile Certification (Scrum Master, SAFe, Product Owner, etc.) - Project management knowledge and experience on IT-related projects, prioritizing the use of an Agile methodology - Experience using Agile Scrum and/or Kanban methodology to plan and manage work against iterations and releases - Experience monitoring project progress and implementing effective corrective actions if progress falls behind - Experience meeting with clients of varying levels to gather, document, prioritize, and analyze system specifications and user requirements, working closely with developers and testers in a fast-paced environment - Demonstrated ability to use effective facilitation skills and techniques to elicit requirements from a diverse range of stakeholders - Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills - Demonstrated ability to offer solutions and articulate the business impact to clients clearly - Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment ---
