ABOUT THE ROLE: ON DEMAND TM
As an On-Demand TM, you have the flexibility to work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is perfect for those looking for a personalized work schedule.
- You have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts that work best for you via our myTime mobile scheduling app.
- We require your active engagement by picking up and working shifts as well as responding to our attempts to contact you.
- We will contact you throughout the year and confirm your availability and interest in working shifts at Target. Failure to respond to our communication attempts may result in termination of your employment.
- Regular attendance is necessary. You must work at least one shift within 6 months to maintain your employment.
- If offered a position, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and participate in a short-term structured training schedule to ensure you are prepared for your new role. After that, you can use the myTime app to pick up shifts.
ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

- Delivering excellent guest service and prioritizing the guest experience.
- Welcoming guests with authenticity and providing assistance based on their needs.
- Being knowledgeable about our products, services, and innovations to enhance the guest experience.
- Thanking guests and ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Assisting with scanning and bagging items, ensuring food safety standards are met.
- Minimizing guest wait times while maintaining accuracy and service standards.
- Informing guests about brand launches, store activities, and upcoming events.
- Promoting and assisting guests with Target RedCard applications.
- Supporting various fulfillment services and educating guests on their usage.
- De-escalating negative situations and resolving guest concerns.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Supporting order pick up and drive-up services.

Additional Requirements:
- Accurate handling of cash register operations and transactions.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise, occasionally up to 40 pounds.
- Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Active engagement by picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to our contact attempts.
- Maintaining at least one shift within 6 months to preserve employment.
