    Job Description

    GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Assist with designing, implementing, and administering HR policies and procedures regarding salary administration, employment decisions, and employee development/training.
    • Support and guide departments and managers in staff training and development, job assignments, performance appraisals, compensation reviews, disciplinary actions, and promotions/transfers.
    • Communicate company and HR policies and procedures to employees and managers.
    • Investigate employee issues by listening to all parties involved, reviewing documentation, and gathering relevant information from management.
    • Listen to employee complaints/concerns and determine appropriate action.
    • Ensure all locations comply with applicable laws.
    • Prepare various reports by collecting data, entering into spreadsheets, and performing statistical analyses to assist management in decision-making.
    • Conduct new employee orientation sessions and ensure accurate processing of paperwork.
    • Provide managers with HR guidance and support for performance and salary review processes.
    • Perform other related duties as needed.

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
    Bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration, or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. PHR preferred.

    GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
    • Excellent understanding of HR practices and procedures
    • Requires knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) regulations, as well as other labor laws and employment laws affecting the workplace
    • Knowledge of general office procedures
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, oral and written communication skills
    • Skilled in working with employee issues

    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, and clients

    This is a career-level professional role. Requires moderate skills with a high level of proficiency. Supports small/medium business groups. Works on problems of moderate scope, using judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external relationships.
