Responsibilities: - Facilitate patient visits and support healthcare providers by anticipating and responding to patient needs. - Coordinate appointment schedules and daily activities in a multispecialty medical practice. - Prepare patients and complete necessary record information. - Manage the flow of patient materials and communicate any scheduling changes or delays. - Schedule and reschedule tests and consultations. - Perform administrative duties, such as processing forms and insurance verification. - Assist patients with using electronic applications and devices. - Maintain flexibility and adjust work schedules based on department or clinical needs. Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED and one year of customer service experience required. - Computer skills, including Windows-based applications and internet use. - Associate's Degree in a healthcare related field preferred. - Completion of a Medical Terminology course preferred. - Ability to work independently, multitask, and maintain strong organizational skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to handle difficult situations and remain calm under stress. - Display empathy and positive communication in a rapidly changing environment. - Ability to develop innovative solutions and maintain a friendly attitude. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required in some areas. Compensation and Benefits: - Hourly rate: $19.09 - $26.36. - Eligible for comprehensive benefit plans.
