    Position Type: Full-time Type of Hire: Experienced (relevant combination of work and education) Education Desired: Master's Degree Travel Percentage: 0% Job Description: - This is a professional role where you will be working on moderately complex assignments, using your judgment within defined procedures. - You will participate in project planning sessions and collaborate closely with experienced Data Scientists and other team members to analyze requirements and provide design recommendations for complex analytical systems. - As part of your role, you will consult with senior peers to continually build knowledge and experience while minimizing any risk. - We are looking for someone who has a strong interest in technological innovation, with a focus on learning to apply standards, understanding the business, and advancing their professional growth. - You should have demonstrated engineering skills and strong mathematical abilities, typically evidenced by a bachelor's degree in a mathematical or related subject and two years of experience in software analytics. General Duties and Responsibilities: - Analyze and extract insights from internal and external data. - Use machine learning and statistical modeling to create and enhance data-driven products. - Work with Big Data and transform complex datasets into more usable formats. - Utilize various data science tools and programming languages such as Python, R, Scala, and SQL. - Work independently and collaborate with other groups to solve complex problems. - Create and present analyses to internal and external partners and clients. - Document models and write code to track and monitor models and product performance. - Make pragmatic choices when trading-off sophistication and accuracy versus implementation and performance costs. - Perform other related duties as assigned. Education Requirements: - Master's degree in Statistics, Decision Sciences, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience. General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Knowledge in machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical modeling, data visualization, and data analysis. - Proficiency in data science tools and programming languages such as Python, R, Scala, and SQL. - Experience or knowledge of cloud-based technology. - Knowledge of the financial services industry. - Ability to collaborate with others and solve complex problems. - Proficiency in solutions design and requirements. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills. - Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach. - Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts. - Ability to work well as part of a team or independently. - Exceptional statistical, mathematical, and analytical skills. - Delivery-oriented team player who takes responsibility for the team's success and strives to continually learn and improve. - Ability to interface with employees at all levels and effectively interact with various functional areas and facilities. - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, and clients.
