Position: Account Executive II (Harris County)

Job Summary:

The Account Executive II supports Account Executives and Account Management Teams in assigned territories. You will assist with new business, renewal presentations, and broker service issues related to ancillary products.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve or exceed annual sales goals and penetrate the book of business
• Participate in product training with Sales Management
• Support Health Plan's General Agents and brokers in assigned territory
• Develop best practices based on local market conditions
• Review and respond to RFPs, manage internal strategy, and participate in major sales and renewal presentations
• Maintain knowledge of competition, market environments, and healthcare economics
• Build relationships with Health Plan sales and account management teams
• Travel to customer and presale meetings
• Submit reports to management in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in Sales, Healthcare, Medicare, CMS Regulations, and/or Management
• Prior experience working with brokers/agents and territory management is preferred
• A valid driver's license and ability to travel (minimum 75% of the role in the marketplace)
• Active health insurance license required or obtained within 90 days
