    Job Description

    Inclusive Community Education Program Manager

    We are seeking a compassionate and talented individual to join our team as a Community Education Program Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to inspire and support scholars from all backgrounds to achieve their dreams, contribute to the community, and continue learning throughout their lives.

    Job Summary:

    The Community Education Program Manager will work closely with the Early Childhood & Family Education (EC&FE) Program Coordinator and staff to develop, implement, and evaluate district-wide EC&FE programs. This position requires extensive knowledge of child and family development, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include:

    • Providing leadership and development support in program areas
    • Recruiting, training, and supervising staff
    • Supporting community needs assessment work
    • Developing and implementing a marketing and outreach plan based on community needs
    • Managing grants and initiatives
    • Monitoring program data and communication with stakeholders
    • Tracking program finances
    • Analyzing enrollment data to inform future program needs
    • Assisting with other Community Education program areas as needed

    Your Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred in Education, Business Administration, or related field
    • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in public school and/or community-based early childhood and family education programs
    • At least 3 years of supervisory experience in Community Education programs

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Teaching license in parent education and/or early childhood
    • Experience teaching in ECFE or comparable programs
    • Experience with home visiting and PreK-3rd grade alignment
    • Experience with outreach and/or marketing programs
    • Experience working with diverse populations
    • Experience working with families of low socio-economic status

    Salary: Please refer to the salary grids on Pages 3-4, Section 1 of the Management Personnel I-M agreement.

    Work Schedule: Core hours will be determined upon hire, with flexibility and supervisor approval. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required.
