    Job Description

    Community Education Program Manager

    Job Summary: Our goal is to inspire and support every individual, regardless of their background, to achieve their dreams, contribute to the community, and engage in lifelong learning. As a Community Education Program Manager, you will provide assistance and input in the development, administration, implementation, and evaluation of our early childhood and family education programs. This position requires extensive knowledge of child and family development, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.

    Duties Include:
    - Assisting with the leadership and development of program areas
    - Recruiting, training, and supervising non-licensed staff
    - Supporting ongoing community needs assessment work
    - Developing and implementing a marketing and outreach plan based on community needs
    - Managing grants and initiatives, including reporting
    - Data management and communication with stakeholders
    - Monitoring program revenues and expenses, including tuition collection
    - Analyzing enrollment data to inform future program needs
    - Assisting with other Community Education program areas as needed or assigned

    Qualifications:
    - Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred in Education, Business Administration, or a related field
    - 3+ years of relevant work experience in public school and/or community-based early childhood and family education programming preferred
    - 3+ years of supervising Community Education programs and staff preferred

    Desired:
    - Teaching license in parent education and/or early childhood
    - Experience teaching in early childhood or similar programs
    - Experience with home visiting and alignment from PreK to 3rd grade
    - Experience with outreach and marketing programs
    - Experience working with highly diverse populations
    - Experience working with families of low socio-economic status

    Salary: Please refer to the salary grids on Pages 3 to 4, Section 1 of the Management Personnel I-M agreement.
    Work schedule: Core hours will be developed upon hire and may vary with supervisor approval. This is a salaried position that includes summer hours. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
