Job Opportunity: We are hiring for a position that aims to inspire and prepare scholars from all walks of life to achieve their dreams, contribute to the community, and continue learning throughout their lives. Description: The role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising early childhood and family education programs, ensuring school readiness, and conducting preschool screenings. It also involves seeking and managing grants and other funding for early childhood education, and acting as a liaison with external agencies. The position promotes communication and collaboration across different programs within the district's early childhood education initiative. Responsibilities: - Aligning with the organization's mission and values - Developing and communicating a shared vision for the program - Continuously improving processes - Encouraging high expectations for student achievement in a diverse and inclusive environment - Planning and implementing early childhood education programs for families with children from birth to kindergarten - Building strong community partnerships - Conducting community needs assessments to inform programming - Developing and supporting staff to enhance their impact - Collaborating with teachers to improve student learning - Managing department resources effectively - Ensuring compliance with policies and regulations - Maintaining a safe and secure environment for students and staff - Developing and monitoring budgets - Writing grant reports and applications - Communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders - Demonstrating professionalism and commitment to growth and learning - Staying updated on research, trends, and best practices in early childhood education - Collaborating with other district early childhood programs and initiatives Requirements: - Three years of relevant programming experience - Three years of relevant supervisory experience (preferred in public school or community-based programs) - Early Childhood or Parent and Family Education licensure - Minnesota Administrative License Skills and Competencies: - Knowledge of early childhood programs and child development - Organizational and management abilities - Strong communication skills (written and verbal) - Collaboration and decision-making skills - Ability to work independently - Familiarity with budgeting and program evaluation - Ability to coordinate and collaborate within a large school district system Salary and Benefits: - Full-time, exempt position with 12-month duration (218 days) - Salary range for this position is $107,225 - $127,906, plus benefits.
