All About Service & Engagement

As a Guest Advocate at Target, you will be focused on creating an inclusive and exceptional guest experience. You will interact with guests both in person and through digital platforms, providing them with the knowledge and assistance they need. You will help guests with their shopping needs and promote a range of benefits, offerings, and services. Your goal is to make shopping at Target effortless and seamless for all guests.

What You'll Do as a Guest Advocate

• Create a welcoming experience for all guests by greeting them and observing cues to tailor your approach
• Engage with guests to understand their specific needs and provide assistance
• Be knowledgeable about the products, services, and tools available to solve issues and improve the guest experience
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently, following food safety standards
• Inform guests about upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events
• Promote the Target RedCard and assist guests with the application process
• Show guests how to use the Target App and its features
• Assist guests with Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry services
• Maintain a clean work area and stock supplies
• Follow safety policies and procedures
• Support additional duties as needed
