Position: Phlebotomist – Vascular Access Tech Responsibilities: - Obtain high-quality blood samples using various phlebotomy methods in accordance with safety guidelines and regulations. - Work in different patient care areas, including general care, pediatrics, emergency department, intensive care units, and operating rooms. - Accurately identify patients, label and handle specimens, and perform specimen testing using Point of Care (POC) equipment. - Use computer programs/systems effectively and maintain patient confidentiality. - Provide excellent customer service by interacting with patients, nurses, providers, and other healthcare professionals. - Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and the ability to work independently. - Train students and new employees. Qualifications: - High school diploma plus completion of a phlebotomy training program with a clinical rotation, or 3 months of phlebotomy experience. - Inpatient/hospital experience and national phlebotomy certification are preferred, but not required. - All high school transcripts must be attached to your profile for consideration. - International applicants must provide a detailed equivalency evaluation of their high school diploma from a recognized organization. - Internal candidates should provide the past 3 performance appraisals and an updated resume for consideration. Benefits: - Competitive compensation within the range of $20.11 to $28.20 per hour. - Eligible for comprehensive benefit plans. - Full-time schedule with various shifts, including day, evening, and night shifts. - Weekend rotations and shift differentials available. - No international assignments.
