We specialize in procedures such as Orthopedics, Joint Replacement, Spine, General, Bariatrics, Surgical Oncology, ENT, and Reconstructive Surgery. We are currently seeking an OR Circulator Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. New grads are encouraged to apply and may be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus! As a nurse in the operating room, you will work under the direct supervision of the Manager and be responsible for assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating the care of patients. You will also provide education to patients and their families, maintain and review patient records, and administer medication as directed by physicians.
Required Skills:
- Current Texas Nursing License
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- New graduates encouraged to apply
- Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors, and the public
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptiveness to change, creativity, and innovation
- Ability to adapt to change quickly and strong knowledge base in surgery procedures and management of surgical patients
- Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics
- Excellent teaching skills
