    About the Role:

    In this Development Management role, you will be at the forefront of changing the way the world makes payments, banks, and invests. You will plan and manage the development of software applications for clients, ranging from small and simple applications to large and complex ones.

    About the Team:

    This position is part of the Wealth and Retirement Administration (WRA) division, specifically focusing on Retirement services. The WRA division provides software and services for the Retirement industry, including Mutual Fund Companies, Financial Institutions, and Corporations. Our team is global, with members in the US and India.

    What You Will Be Doing:

    • Manage the full software development lifecycle, including testing and implementation
    • Resolve critical issues and contribute to business unit development
    • Manage a team of developers, including mentorship and administrative responsibilities
    • Identify and allocate technical resources to projects
    • Ensure quality standards and compliance are met
    • Provide input on product direction
    • Coordinate with compliance consultants and product managers to ensure regulatory compliance
    • Ensure proper application of technology

    What You Bring:

    Knowledge/Experience:

    • 10+ years of relevant experience
    • Strong project management, organization, communication, analytical, and people skills
    • Ability to lead, supervise, and manage effectively under pressure
    • Comfortable interacting with executive level clients
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and problem areas
    • Ability to make solid decisions and solve problems
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Hands-on software development experience
    • Technical responsibility for software

    Technical Skills:

    • Angular JS, NgRx
    • Web services (SOAP & REST)
    • Frameworks - Hibernate, Junit (Unit testing), Spring Boot (optional)
    • Knowledge of Design patterns
    • Deployment and insight on App. Servers - Tomcat and JBoss
    • Sound knowledge of Databases - Oracle, MS-SQL (My-SQL is optional)
    • Background in building Web applications
    • Strong debugging skills and familiarity with industry standard tools
    • HTML 5 & CSS 3
    • Knowledge of Safe Agile Methodology

    Key Knowledge Skills and Behaviors:

    • Training in experimental design and analysis of field trial data – preferable with knowledge of Agricultural Research Manager (ARM) software
    • Experience in reporting out results of scientific work to all levels of internal and external customers
    • Experience in project management
    • Able to identify, qualify and quantify the technical strengths and weaknesses of development opportunities.
    • Ph.D. in agronomy, weed science, pathology, or entomology is preferred.
    • 3-7 years of experience in crop protection product development.
    • Strong electronic administrative and communication skills.
    • Able to project knowledge and ideas through excellent presentation skills.
    • Enthusiastic team player but able to work independently.
    • Ability and willingness to travel. Expected travel requirements are up to 25%.
    • Spanish language capability is a plus.

    • Field Product Development Manager – North America
    • Product Manager – Global
    • Directors, International (commercial managers with multiple country responsibilities who are closely involved in product development in their markets)
    • Key influencers in the crop markets, countries, and crop protection segments important to the company, such as university/extension, crop research institutes, corporate farms, 3rd party development consultants, and other key influencers.

    • Advancement in the understanding of internal product knowledge and product development processes.
    • Continuing/establishing strong relationships with key technical influencers.
