Citi Commercial Bank - Commercial Lending Management – Credit Officer, Healthcare/Not for Profit Vertical - Vice President

Description:

Citi’s US Commercial Bank (CCB) is a rapidly growing business that targets emerging, mid- and larger-sized companies. We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated credit professional to join our Healthcare/Not for Profit team. This position will be based in either Irving, Texas or New York City.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the end-to-end lending process for assigned relationships and portfolios
• Ensure appropriate regulatory classification and minimize net credit losses
• Make informed credit underwriting decisions based on industry knowledge and market conditions
• Manage the analysis and workflow of underwriting requests
• Lead the preparation of financial reviews and track compliance with loan covenants
• Supervise the loan documentation process and ensure credit approval terms are reflected in closing documents
• Conduct client calls and develop an extensive knowledge of credit products and services
• Mentor and develop junior staff members
• Recommend process improvements for greater efficiency and controls

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in credit underwriting, portfolio, or risk management
• Deep expertise in the Healthcare and Not for Profit industry
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make timely decisions
• Proficient in spreadsheet and word processing applications
• Bachelor’s degree required
