Your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs, making this role perfect for those seeking a personalized work schedule. - As an On-Demand Team Member, you have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members through our myTime mobile scheduling app. Your active engagement in picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to our attempts at contact, is required. - Regular attendance is necessary, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months to maintain your employment with Target. - If offered the position, you will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and participate in a short-term structured training schedule to ensure you are prepared for your new role. After that, you can use the myTime mobile scheduling app to choose the shifts you desire to work. ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT: - Guest Advocates at Target focus on providing exceptional guest service, both in-person and digitally. They welcome, thank, and exceed guest expectations by ensuring a positive and inclusive experience. - Guest Advocates are knowledgeable about the products and services available, empowering them to help guests find solutions and improve their shopping experience. - Responsibilities include creating a welcoming environment, engaging with guests, scanning and bagging items, promoting company initiatives, handling returns, and delivering seamless service to guests using Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry services, among other duties. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: - We are seeking individuals who enjoy working in a fun and energetic environment, providing service that makes guests say "I LOVE TARGET!" - Strong communication skills, a welcoming attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to evolving technology needs are important qualities for a Guest Advocate. - You should be willing to educate guests, sell products and services, and work both independently and as part of a team. - You must be able to handle cash register operations, scan and move merchandise efficiently and safely, and be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. - As an On-Demand Team Member, we ask for your active engagement by picking up and working shifts through the myTime mobile app. You should also respond promptly to our attempts at contact throughout the year to maintain your employment with Target.
