About the Role

As an On-Demand Team Member, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule. Instead, you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule by picking up shifts that work best for you, as posted by leaders or other team members via our myTime mobile scheduling app.

We require your active engagement by picking up and working shifts and responding to our attempts at contact throughout the year. Regular attendance is necessary, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months to maintain your employment with Target.

If offered the position, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and complete a short-term structured training schedule to ensure you are prepared for your new role. After that, you will have the freedom to pick up shifts using the myTime mobile app.

Your Role as a Guest Advocate

Guest Advocates are our frontline team members who ensure every guest has an inclusive and enjoyable experience in our stores. Your responsibilities may include:

• Welcoming and greeting guests with a genuine smile
• Assisting guests and solving any concerns they may have
• Being knowledgeable about our products and services
• Thanking guests for choosing Target and making their shopping experience pleasant
• Operating cash registers and handling cash transactions accurately
• Ensuring a clean and clutter-free work area
• Supporting guest services like order pick-up and drive-up
• Following all safety and compliance policies
