About the Role
We are currently hiring experienced nurses as well as new graduate nurses. As a registered nurse (RN) at Mayo Clinic, you will be responsible for coordinating nursing care, providing direct patient care, educating patients and their families, and facilitating care transitions. Qualifications
We welcome students, graduates, and experienced nurses from accredited nursing programs recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). If you have graduated from a program not accredited by these organizations, you must have at least one year of RN experience in an applicable care setting.
In addition to the above, excellent communication skills, experience working in a team environment, and computer proficiency are desired. A current RN license, Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, and any additional specialty certification/training required for the specific work area are necessary.
