Job Summary: - We are hiring for a secretarial role to support the Administration and Counseling Staff. - The main responsibilities include typing, filing, emailing, and faxing student records and communication between parents and the Administration. - You will also greet and assist students in Student Services, schedule student meetings for the Counselors, and handle various administrative tasks. - Additionally, you will be responsible for typing, recording, and filing reports related to counseling activities and maintaining the guidance department's functioning. - You may also need to provide backup support to the Building Secretary and the Main Office as required. - Other duties will be assigned as needed. Minimum Qualifications: - High School graduate or equivalent education. - Previous office experience is required. Preferred Qualifications: - Vocational or advanced training in office procedures is desirable. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage office responsibilities. - Good communication skills, both verbal and written. - Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and email software. - Ability to develop and maintain record systems. - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals. - Strong human relations skills, including helping others and exchanging information. Salary: - The salary details can be found in the Administrative Education Support Professionals (AESPs) contract. Please refer to the salary grid on page 5, Section 1, and Classification on pages 6-7, Section 3. - This position follows a work schedule of 212 days, 8 hours per day, and 40 hours per week.
