Job Opportunity: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

As an LPN at Mayo Clinic, you will provide nursing care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or other assigned supervisor. You will collect data, communicate information, and assist in patient assessment and care planning. As a member of the healthcare team, you will deliver care according to the patient care plan and organization's policies. In addition, you will possess excellent communication skills, mentor and instruct others, and have the opportunity to participate in committees or projects.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a school of practical nursing or passed LPN Boards after a defined period in a professional nursing program
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Experience working in a team environment
• Computer skills required, experience with electronic medical record systems preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to unpredictable situations
• Additional specialty certification/training as required by the work area
• Current LPN license by applicable state requirements
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers certification

Position Details:

• Job Type: Part-Time
• Hours/Pay Period: 48 hours
• Schedule: Monday - Friday; variety of day shifts, 8 & 10-hour shifts
• Weekend Schedule: No weekends, no holidays

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive compensation range of $22.91 - $33.27 per hour. This position is benefits-eligible.
