As a 2024 FIS University Program Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on team projects, attend social events and professional development seminars, and learn from mentors. This is a paid internship, and it will last from June 3, 2024, to August 9, 2024. About The Team We are a diverse team of Data Scientists and Analysts working on key products and capabilities in merchant acquiring. We are located in multiple states in the US and the UK. Our team is made up of 20 members across different departments. What You Will Be Doing - Learning about the payments industry - Gaining experience in Analytics and Data Science under the guidance of a senior Data Scientist - Writing code in R, Python, or SQL - Working in an Agile and DevOps team - Improving current processes or working on new process concepts - Collaborating with team members - Presenting your work to the team and the Director of Data Science What You Bring - Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study - Rising Senior (graduating between December 2024 and May 2025) - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Self-motivation and a willingness to learn - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills What We Offer You - Competitive, paid summer internship - Opportunity to work on projects that directly impact the business - Chance to tackle challenging issues in financial services and technology - Time to support charities and give back to your community - A collaborative, flexible, and respectful work environment Please note that this position does not offer sponsorship for current or future applicants.
