    What You Will Do :

    • Help coordinate the delivery of prescriptions from the specialty pharmacy, while following standard practices

    • Assist patients with obtaining information about their benefits for home infusion services, and provide financial counseling

    • Communicate with patients to gather necessary information for processing prescriptions, refills, and accessing benefits

    • Obtain prior authorizations, including initiating requests, expediting responses from insurance companies, and keeping patients and pharmacy staff informed

    • Track and report service issues related to authorizations, financial assistance, or other factors that may delay service

    • Document case activity, communications, and correspondence in the computer system to maintain accurate patient records

    • Input charges into the computer system for billing home infusion services to the payer

    • Perform or assist with any necessary operations to maintain workflow and meet business needs

    What You Will Need :

    • Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent

    • Excellent customer service skills

    • Good written and verbal communication skills

    • Basic computer skills

    What Would be Nice to Have :

    • Preferred Qualifications: 1-3 years of related experience or general knowledge of payor-specific or medical specialty billing

    • Ability to communicate in a professional and calm manner, using proper grammar and language

    • Skilled in facilitating conversations and understanding customer issues and needs

    • Ability to work with independence, flexibility, and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to handle difficult situations and de-escalate issues

    • Knowledge of reimbursement aspects of managed healthcare contracts

    • Strong listening skills

    • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish preferred

    • Exceptional customer service skills, including problem-solving and analyzing skills

    • Experience with dialer systems preferred

    • Additional Requirements: Must not have any employment restrictions from previous employers that would prevent job responsibilities

    • Due to contractual requirements, must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated at the time of hire
