Short Description We are looking for individuals to join our team in various ambulatory settings, including primary care, specialty practices, and multi-specialty clinics. As a member of our team, you will support both clinical and administrative tasks, including assisting healthcare providers, handling clerical duties, and ensuring a comfortable environment for patients. Your role will involve providing patients with information to help them make the most of our clinical services. It is important to maintain regulatory standards and work collaboratively with medical providers and our professional development team. Experience Required - Minimum one year of recent experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant or completion of an externship in a medical office. - Proficiency in performing electrocardiograms (EKG), measuring vital signs, conducting venipuncture, capillary, and injections. - Experience with the Epic electronic medical record system (preferred). - Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication, and teamwork skills. - Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service. Education Requirements - High School Diploma or Equivalent. License/Certification Requirements - Graduate of a post-secondary medical assisting education program accredited by NJAC(13:35-6.4) approved certifying body AND current certification from a recognized certifying board approved by NJ Board of Medical Examiners. - Current BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
