As a Consultant Engineer at FM Global, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced mentors and work in a supportive and collaborative environment for the first 12-18 months. Our team of loss prevention engineers will provide you with the knowledge and resources to analyze risks and provide solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities:

If you enjoy variety and have strong time-management and organizational skills, this role is for you. Your responsibilities will include:

• Visiting client facilities to assess physical property and evaluate potential risks
• Evaluating site water supplies, dust hazards, and chemical and rack storage arrangements
• Ensuring that FM Global Engineering Standards are followed and communicating recommendations to clients
• Working from a home office and traveling to clients' facilities

Qualifications:

Successful candidates for this role will have the following qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• 0-5 years of industry experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of engineering principles
• Ability to work from a home office
• Authorization to work in the country you are applying to work in
• Physical ability to lift 25 pounds and work at heights
• Proficiency in MS Office products
• A valid driver's license
