** About the Job** :

We are looking for a Consultant to join our Energy Transition team. In this role, you will work with energy companies, corporations, financial institutions, and governments to navigate the changing energy landscape. This includes understanding new technologies, addressing climate change, adapting to extreme weather events, and modernizing processes. Our goal is to support our clients in their transition to a sustainable and digital energy system. As part of the Transmission & Distribution Technical Services team, you will focus on planning, engineering, and operations of energy systems. You will collect and analyze data, provide recommendations, and contribute to technical studies. This position offers opportunities for career growth and development within the Guidehouse team.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Collecting and analyzing data
• Power system modeling and analysis
• Reviewing technical studies and industry methodologies
• Conducting research on emerging trends and technologies
• Preparing project documentation and reports
• Communicating with clients and stakeholders

** Qualifications** :

• No previous experience required
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Power Systems) - must still be enrolled in an accredited degree program in 2023 and graduate by Summer of 2024
• Authorized to work in the country

** Preferred Qualifications** :

• Graduate Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Power Systems)
• Experience in power system modeling and analysis
• Knowledge of economic and financial analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail

The salary for this position ranges from $49,800.00 to $89,700.00 per year. Compensation will be determined based on various factors such as skills, experience, and organizational needs.
