As a Physical Therapist in Acute Therapy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and treating patients. You will work with a team of premier healthcare professionals and have access to state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring that you can provide outstanding care to your patients.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing evaluations, implementing treatment interventions and strategies, and participating in discharge planning for patients. You will provide care in accordance with ethical and professional standards, taking into consideration the specific needs of diverse populations, including patients with cultural backgrounds, age-related challenges, and physical disabilities.

Education:

• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Preferred: Master's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Preferred: Doctorate Degree from an accredited institution (required for license)

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current physical therapist license issued by the California licensing board
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

What else are we looking for?

• 1 year of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist in an acute setting is preferred. However, we are open to considering new graduates who have exposure to acute care in their clinical fieldwork setting.

Physical demands:

• Able to push, pull, and lift up to 100 lbs on an intermittent basis
• Able to bend, stoop, sit, stand, and walk without restrictions
