Job Summary: We are looking for someone to provide administrative support to our Administration and Counseling Staff. This is an opportunity to help students and parents, assist with office tasks, and contribute to the smooth functioning of our school. Responsibilities and Tasks: - Assist with secretarial duties such as typing, filing, emailing, and faxing student records and communication between parents and Administration. - Greet and assist students in Student Services. - Support the Administration team. - Assist the Counselors by scheduling student meetings, processing course changes, and more. - Type, record, and file reports related to counseling activities and the guidance department. - Provide backup support to the Building Secretary, including AESOP and Sub prep. - Assist in the Main Office. - Perform other assigned duties. Minimum Qualifications: - High school graduate or equivalent. - Previous office experience required. Preferred Qualifications: - Vocational or advanced training in office procedures desirable. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage office responsibilities. - Good communication skills, both oral and written. - Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and email software. - Ability to develop and maintain record systems. - Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with diverse individuals within and outside the district. - A helpful and friendly attitude, promoting positive relationships with others. Salary: View the salary grid and classification information in the AESP contract. Work Schedule: This is a full-time position, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, for a total of 212 days.
