Our branch network is part of the broader Investor Services organization and is primarily responsible for providing advice and support to individuals and families with their financial needs. This includes retirement planning, educational planning, investment management, estate planning, active investing, managed banking, and lending.

What you have

Building strong relationships with our clients is a key part of Schwab's business strategy. As an Investment Consultant, you will:

• Make proactive outreach calls to existing Schwab clients and identify opportunities to provide suitable products and solutions based on their needs. You may work with subject matter experts, peers, and managers to achieve this.
• Develop initial relationships with walk-in clients and prospects, understand their investment goals, and provide appropriate offerings based on their individual needs.
• Identify and refer additional opportunities to Branch Financial Consultants.
• Deliver exceptional value and excellent service to our clients.

Essential skills for this role include:

• Must have a valid and active Series 7 license (can be obtained as a condition of employment through Branch Network Licensing Program)
• Must have a valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license (can be obtained as a condition of employment)
• Must have a valid and active Life and Health Insurance license (can be obtained as a condition of employment)
• 2 years of experience in the financial services industry preferred
• Business development experience highly preferred
• Knowledge of brokerage/banking products and services
• Strong client relationship building experience

In accordance with SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the NMLS registry system and maintain good standing. You will be required to register and undergo the necessary background check and registration process as required by the SAFE Act.
