Current Opportunity: GPO Specialist

Position Description:

The GPO Membership Services Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting our McKesson GPO businesses. This position is responsible for customer enrollment and onboarding, maintaining membership rosters, and conducting contract audits to ensure members can access negotiated contracts and services through McKesson. The specialist will work with multiple stakeholder groups to standardize membership services processes and tools. Reporting to the Senior Manager of GPO Membership Services, the GPO Specialist is an integral part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regularly review and maintain membership rosters to ensure accurate data
• Notify manufacturers of any changes in a timely manner
• Serve as the subject matter expert for internal teams and pharmaceutical partners
• Create and maintain necessary membership documents
• Conduct contract audits and minimize off-contract purchases
• Advise customers and sales teams on contract requirements
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve off-contract issues
• Support new contract launches and amendments
• Process and track member applications and forms
• Provide regular reports and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Degree or equivalent

Critical Skills:

• 2+ years of experience working with Group Purchasing Organizations
• Proficient in databases and CRM systems (SAP EP1 and Sales Force)
• Working knowledge of oncology and multi-specialty marketplace is preferred
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Additional Skills/Knowledge:

• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Customer-oriented and detail-oriented

Education:

• 4-year undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

Travel:

• 15% travel required (typically one 2-3 day trip per quarter)
