Your main responsibility will be to ensure that our vehicles are fueled, clean, and safe before they hit the road.     Main Responsibilities:

    • Warmly greeting our customers and ensuring they have a positive experience while fueling and washing vehicles.
    • Conducting vehicle readiness inspections to ensure tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance tasks are completed.
    • Maintaining clean and safe facilities for our customers and associates.
    • Developing your skills through training and hands-on coaching to perform minor repairs, such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires, and conducting preventive maintenance repairs.
    • Completing assigned projects and tasks as delegated by your supervisor.

    General Requirements:

    • A high school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience is preferred.
    • A valid driver's license is required.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
    • The ability to work well as part of a team is important.
    • Willingness to work outdoors is necessary.
    • Basic mechanical ability and tool usage are preferred.
    • Basic computer skills are required.
    • You must be able to understand and comply with instructions, guidelines, and rules established by Penske management.
    • You must adhere to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies.
    • Regular and predictable attendance is a fundamental requirement of the job.
    • Willingness to work the required schedule, be at the specific location, complete the Penske employment application, undergo a background screening (including criminal checks, past employment, and education), pass a drug screen and physical as required by the Department of Transportation, and potentially travel for training in nearby locations are all necessary.
    • This position requires working in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. It is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company. Therefore, you must be responsible for your own safety and the safety of others.

    • You must be able to work in all weather conditions safely.
    • Due to the movement of large trucks in the workplace, you must have good vision and hearing to navigate the work environment safely.
    • You must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg on a regular basis and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
