Position: Brokerage Associate

We are looking for a Brokerage Associate who will be responsible for supporting our Empower clients with their investment needs. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in customer service and understands the diverse operational and investment requirements of our customers. Knowledge of current financial markets and retirement account operations is essential.

Note: This position can be done remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Service new and existing clients via inbound calls
• Handle client trading of various securities such as Equity, ETF, Mutual Fund, Options, and Fixed Income
• Engage customers in an Investment Recommendation Conversation
• Respond to operational inquiries related to trading, asset movement, account opening, and asset consolidation
• Identify leads and opportunities to refer to the Retirement Advisor Team
• Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented environment

Requirements:

• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 certifications
• Fingerprinting
• Insurance license may be required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of financial customer service experience
• Strong technological skills and ability to multi-task
• Previous experience in brokerage and mutual fund trading
• Comprehensive PC skills including familiarity with Empower Retirement's recordkeeping system
• Bachelor's Degree
• Comprehensive professional skills

Salary:

The typical base salary range for this position is $47,400.00 - $65,175.00 per year. Non-sales positions may offer bonuses, while sales positions have additional incentives. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as location, experience, education, and skill level.
