    About the Role:

    As an On-Demand Team Member, you have the flexibility to work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for individuals looking for a personalized work schedule. You will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members. We require active engagement and responsiveness to our communication attempts throughout the year.

    To ensure you are well-prepared for this role, if hired as an On-Demand Team Member, you will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and a short-term structured training schedule.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide exceptional guest service by prioritizing the guest's experience
    • Create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting and assisting guests
    • Understand and promote Target products, services, and offerings
    • Efficiently process guest transactions and handle merchandise
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area
    • Continuously adapt to different guest interactions and situations
    • Support various fulfillment services such as Order Pick Up and Drive Up

    Requirements:

    • Effective communication skills and a positive attitude
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technology needs
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
    • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
    • Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
    • Physical ability to handle merchandise and lift up to 40 pounds
