If you join as an On-Demand Team Member, you have the freedom to choose your own work schedule. You can work as much or as little as you like by picking up shifts that fit your availability. This flexibility makes this role ideal for those looking for personalized work arrangements.

What You'll Do as an On-Demand Team Member:

• Create your own schedule by picking up shifts that work best for you
• Be engaged and responsive by actively picking up and working shifts, and communicating with us
• Regular attendance is crucial, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months
• Complete a Target Welcome orientation and short-term structured training after being hired

Our Guest Advocates are passionate about providing exceptional guest experiences. They welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations. They are knowledgeable about our products and services, making shopping effortless and seamless.

As a Guest Advocate, Your Responsibilities May Include:

• Delivering excellent guest service by following our service standard
• Greeting guests with authenticity and observing their needs through their body language and verbal cues
• Engaging with guests to understand their specific needs and solving any issues
• Informing guests about our offerings, benefits, and services
• Scanning and bagging items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards
• Minimizing guest wait time and maintaining accuracy
• Informing guests about brand launches, store activities, and events
• Promoting and assisting guests with Target RedCard and other services
• Assisting with various guest services, such as Order Pick Up and Drive Up
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Following safety policies and procedures at all times
• Working collaboratively in a team and adapting to different guest interactions
• Resolving guest concerns and de-escalating negative situations
• Supporting compliance with adult beverage laws

Additional Requirements:

• Accurate cash register operations and cash handling
• Ability to lift and move merchandise safely, up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally
• Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Active engagement as an on-demand Team Member, working at least one shift within 6 months
