Our Bank Sales Acquisition role may be a new career path for you, but we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed. Our three-month training program includes all the necessary materials, discussions, hands-on training, e-learning modules, and instructor guidance to support you in serving our members independently. As you progress, our in-office development program will further enhance your skills and foster a proactive and independent support style. After six months in-office, you'll have the opportunity to work in a hybrid model, with the flexibility to work from home 2 days a week. The exact schedule will be determined between you and your manager. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this position. The Opportunity We are currently seeking dedicated professionals for future bank customer service and sales opportunities in 2023. If you desire a full-time schedule, consider joining our Phoenix office located at 1 Norterra Drive, Phoenix, AZ 85085. Work schedule times will vary, including a weekend day, with some shifts ending as late as 10 PM local time. We highly encourage military veterans and spouses to apply. As a Bank Customer Service & Sales Representative, your role will involve facilitating the financial security of our members through needs-based sales and service conversations. You'll identify their immediate and underlying financial needs and propose relevant solutions using USAA Banking products and services. What You'll Do - Explore members' banking needs and offer customized solutions. - Recommend new banking products based on member interests. - Provide operational support and guidance on multiple banking products. - Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and address any non-compliant issues. - Identify trade-offs that benefit both the member and USAA. - Resolve issues and maintain high levels of member satisfaction. - Identify and manage existing and emerging risks related to business activities. What You Need - High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma. - 1 year of customer service, financial services member contact, or military experience. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to prioritize tasks and navigate through multiple business applications. - Knowledge of bank regulatory and compliance requirements. - Successful completion of a job-related assessment. What Sets You Apart - US military experience or a military spouse/domestic partner. - 2 years of banking experience and sales experience. - 2 years of sales experience. - 1 year of contact center experience.
