    ABOUT ON DEMAND

    As an On-Demand Team Member (TM), you have the flexibility to work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule will depend on shift availability and store needs. This personalized work schedule is ideal for those seeking flexibility.

    As an On-Demand TM, you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members using our myTime mobile scheduling app.

    We require active engagement from our On-Demand TMs by picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to our contact attempts. Regular attendance is necessary, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months to maintain employment.

    If you are offered a position as an On-Demand TM, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and undergo short-term structured training to prepare for your role. After that, you can use the myTime mobile scheduling app to pick up shifts.

    ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

    As a Guest Advocate, you will be an advocate for the guest experience. You will exceed guest service expectations and provide assistance both in-store and digitally. Your role is to make shopping effortless and seamless for guests, whether at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up, or drive-up.

    Responsibilities as a Guest Advocate include:

    • Creating a welcoming experience for all guests and authentically greeting them
    • Identifying guest needs through observation and tailored approaches
    • Engaging with guests, asking questions, and understanding their specific needs
    • Resolving guest concerns and improving their experience using the tools, products, and services available
    • Providing assistance and information on current and upcoming offerings and events
    • Assisting guests with Target RedCard applications and promoting its benefits
    • Guiding guests on using Wallet and other features within the Target App
    • Handling returns, following register prompts, and de-escalating negative situations
    • Ensuring easy and seamless service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
    • Maintaining a clean work area and stocking supplies
    • Working in compliance with safety policies and best practices
    • Supporting guest services such as order pick up and drive-up while maintaining compliance with laws
    • Performing any other duties as assigned based on business needs
