Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all position welding on a variety of parts and assemblies.
• Follow safety guidelines and instructions to ensure a safe work environment.
• Proficiently operate different types of welding equipment and tools.
• Read and interpret drawings and job layouts to perform welding tasks.
• Fit, position, and weld various items such as frames, bases, pipes, and machinery.
• Chip and grind welds as necessary.
• Operate fabrication equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Understand different types of steel and preheat requirements.
• Use computerized maintenance software to manage work tasks efficiently.

Skills/Requirements:

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school Diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Technical diploma is desired.
• Must pass State of Wisconsin structural welding certification within 90 days of start date.
• Physical ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures.
