Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Fulfill assigned duties in various units: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry or Intensive Care
• Assist patients with daily activities like eating, using the bathroom, and personal hygiene
• Provide basic nursing care to patients who are non-acutely and acutely ill
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Work under the guidance and supervision of registered nurses
• Answer phone calls and respond to call lights
• Ensure units are stocked with necessary supplies
• Assist patient transporters as needed
• Perform other assigned duties

Shifts:

Night Shift: 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Day Shift: 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Experience:

2 or more years of experience as a nursing assistant (strongly preferred)

Certifications:

Preferred certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant

Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English

Basic computer knowledge
