    About the role:

    The Strategic Finance team at FIS is motivated, dynamic, and growing! We are looking to expand our team and looking for a smart, driven, hardworking, and experienced Manager to lead M&A financial due diligence and valuation. Do you have a desire to work with C-level executives to help aide in business growth and strategy? As a Corporate Development Finance Manager, you will partner with business segment leaders, strategists, and the Finance Leadership Team to execute on all non-organic growth business transformations.

    Expertise and Accuracy : M&A transactions involve substantial financial complexities and risks. The finance manager plays a pivotal role in conducting thorough due diligence and precise valuation, ensuring the company makes informed investment decisions.

    R isk Mitigation : M&A deals can be high-stakes endeavors. The finance manager assesses potential risks associated with target companies, including financial irregularities, hidden liabilities, or unfavorable contract terms.
    Strategic Decision-Making : M&A transactions often align with a company's growth strategy. The finance manager provides data-driven insights that help senior leadership make strategic decisions. This includes determining whether the acquisition aligns with the company's goals, how to structure the deal, and evaluating alternative investment options, ultimately influencing the company's competitive position and market expansion.

    Capital Allocation : A finance manager with strong valuation skills ensures that the company allocates its capital wisely. They assess the target's true value, which impacts the purchase price negotiation and post-acquisition integration planning.

    In summary, this is a critical and highly visible role ensuring the company's financial health, risk mitigation, strategic decision-making, capital allocation, and stakeholder confidence. The impact of this role extends beyond the financials, influencing the company's competitive advantage, growth prospects, and long-term success.

    What you will be doing:

    Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial and valuation models and other detailed financial / quantitative analyses.

    Analysis: Conduct efficient and thorough analyses including identification of potential benefits, risks, and overall alignment with corporate strategy to support the evaluation of new M&A and other corporate development opportunities, ensuring quality of deliverables to drive outcomes.

    Due Diligence & Recordkeeping: Manage cross-functional due diligence; lead all aspects of due diligence in acquisitions.

    Internal approvals: prepare investment or divestment memos and/or dossiers in support of transactions for executive decision across the organization.

    Cross Functional Leadership: Develop strong working relationships with various functional groups in the organization.

    Presentations: Construct presentations for Executive Leadership Team (“ELT”) including BOD presentations, Due diligence readouts, Acquisition case overview and viability pitches, as well as other strategic initiatives as dictated by the Corporate Development Team and the Office of the CFO.

    Analyst Training & Development: Participate in training, mentoring, and developing the analyst pool.

    What you will need:

    ** Qualification**

    • Bachelor’s degree is required in accounting, finance, statistics or similar fields. MS in Finance, MBA, and CPA or CFA licenses are not required but preferred
    • Minimum 7 years of related experience in Investment Banking, Consulting, Private Equity, Corporate Development, or FP&A
    • Financial Technology Industry knowledge is not required but preferred

    Qualifications

    · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance

    · At least 7+ years of work experience in cash management functions required

    · Prior experience in managing staff required.

    · Understanding of banking industry processes terminology.

    · Understanding general ledger transactions.

    · Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
    · Prior experience with Oracle accounting software preferred.

    · Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
    · Must have excellent analytical skills and be detail-oriented.

    · Ability to meet strict deadlines and work independently.
