    Job Title: Electrical Engineer Specialist Job Code: IMS20232510-107493 Job Location: Anaheim, CA Schedule: 4/10 (four days of work with ten-hour shifts) Job Description: L3Harris is looking for an Electrical Engineer with expertise in Analog, Digital, or RF engineering. In this role, you will participate in complex projects with guidance and collaborate with colleagues inside and outside your department. Your work will involve making improvements to systems and processes, ultimately contributing to the department's goals and outcomes. Essential Functions: - Design, develop, modify, test, evaluate, and integrate electronic equipment and components for high-performance hardware systems. - Analyze electrical requirements to determine if the design is feasible within time and cost limitations. - Conduct experimental tests, analyze results, and establish operating data for equipment. - Select components and equipment based on specifications and reliability analysis. - Identify operational characteristics of components that may impact system performance and sustainability. - Support and lead design activities for new and existing products, focusing on medium frequencies/edge rates and considering manufacturing throughout the development process. - Apply electrical engineering principles and techniques to support design, development, documentation, verification, and manufacturing debug activities. - Support design modifications for existing products, especially when driven by component obsolescence. - Provide technical solutions to difficult problems and contribute to milestones associated with specific projects. - Understand and create schematics with digital and analog electronic circuits. - Provide guidance for PCB layout. - Review vendor capabilities for development and application of specialized skills in analog, digital, FPGA, DSP, CCA, power, antenna, and control systems, as needed. - Develop and assess methodologies and performance of specialized algorithms for various applications, such as Underwater Acoustics, sonar, communications, geophysical, and other sensor processing. - Generate presentation materials, develop operation manuals and test procedures. Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and at least 2 years of related experience. In place of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of related experience will be considered. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in Analog Circuit Design. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in RF Electronics. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Schematics Capturing & PCBA Layout using Altium or Cadence. - Minimum of 3 years of lab experience troubleshooting electronics in Analog and RF domains. - Minimum of 2 years of experience with Network Analyzers, Frequency Generators, Vector Analyzers, digital/analog scopes. - Active DoD SECRET clearance is required. Preferred Additional Skills: - Familiarity with GPS Electronics/Circuit Design. - A/D and D/A Circuit Design, Interfacing, and use experience. - Familiarity with industry standard EDA tools, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and FPGA development/simulation. - Experience in the development of military products is a plus. Please note that the salary range for this role is between $83,500 and $155,500. The final offer may vary based on factors such as experience and location.
