    Position: Account Executive II

    We are seeking an Account Executive to support our Account Executives and Account Management Teams in various territories. Your role will involve assisting with new business, renewal presentations, and addressing broker service issues for our small group, mid-market, and large group segments.

    Your Responsibilities Include:

    • Meeting or exceeding annual sales goals and achieving penetration of the book of business
    • Participating in product training for our commercial sales segments
    • Supporting General Agents and brokers in your assigned territory
    • Developing best practices and implementing them based on local market conditions
    • Reviewing and responding to RFPs, managing internal strategies, and participating in major sales and renewal presentations
    • Maintaining a strong understanding of the competition, market environments, healthcare economics, etc.
    • Performing competitive analysis and submitting reports quarterly
    • Building relationships with our sales and account management teams to increase new sales and expand our book of business
    • Traveling to customer meetings, finalist presentations, and other cross-sale related activities
    • Providing timely and detailed reports as requested

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
    • 2+ years of experience in Sales, Healthcare, Medicare, CMS Regulations, and/or Management
    • Prior experience working with brokers/agents and territory management preferred
    • Active, valid, and unrestricted State Life, Health & Disability license
    • Valid driver's license for Medicare/Commercial Solutions positions
    • Ability to travel (approximately 75% of the role will be in the marketplace)
    • For Medicare/Commercial Solutions positions, active health insurance license required or to be obtained within 90 days. Requirements vary by state.
