Responsibilities - This position is open to experienced nurses as well as new grad nurses. - Location: Eisenberg 72 (EI72), Hematology/Oncology (General Care) - Patient Care Type: Specializing in patients with cancer, providing inpatient nursing care for various types of cancer and hematopoietic disorders. - Nursing Team Roles: Providing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation therapy, pain management, and emotional support. - For New Grad Nurses: Automatically enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program, no separate application required. Qualifications - Student or graduate of an accredited nursing program recognized by ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA. - Entry-level nurses must complete a baccalaureate degree in nursing within five years of start date. - Previous RN experience in an applicable care setting or LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is preferred. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills, computer proficiency, flexibility in working hours, and critical thinking abilities. - Required licenses and certifications: current RN license and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification. Exemption Status - Nonexempt Compensation and Benefits - Hourly rate: $37.20 - $55.84 - Eligible for comprehensive benefits package. Schedule - Full-time position with variable scheduling, including days, evenings, nights, and 8 or 12-hour shifts. - Weekend schedule on a variable basis.
