    Job Title: Guest Advocate (On-Demand TM)

    About the On-Demand TM Role:

    As an On-Demand TM, you have the flexibility to work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule will depend on shift availability and store needs. This role is perfect for those who prefer a personalized work schedule.

    Unlike other team members, you will not be included on the weekly schedule. Instead, you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts that work best for you, using our myTime mobile scheduling app. We expect you to actively engage by picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to our attempts at contact throughout the year.

    Regular attendance is important, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months to maintain employment. You will also be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and complete a short-term training schedule to prepare for your new role. After that, you can use the myTime app to select the shifts you want to work.

    About Service & Engagement:

    As a Guest Advocate, you will provide exceptional service to our guests by exceeding their expectations and focusing on their needs. You will play a vital role in creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all guests.

    In this role, you will:

    • Communicate and interact with guests to ensure an inclusive guest experience
    • Show problem-solving and decision-making skills to positively impact guest experience and address concerns
    • Adapt to different guest interactions and situations
    • Promote and sell various benefits, offerings, and services

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Create a welcoming experience by greeting and observing guests
    • Engage with guests, asking questions to better understand their needs
    • Provide information about products and services to improve the guest experience
    • Thank guests and make them feel appreciated
    • Efficiently scan and bag items, following safety standards
    • Minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy and guest service
    • Inform guests about brand launches, store activities, and events
    • Promote the Target RedCard and assist guests with the application process
    • Assist guests with fulfilling services, such as Order Pick Up and Drive Up
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area
    • Follow safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment
    • Support guest services like Order Pick Up and Drive Up

    As an On-Demand TM, you will handle cash register operations, move merchandise, and work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
